How is architectural and interior design photography different from standard real estate photography?
Architectural and interior photography is built around the design itself rather than simply documenting a property for sale. We spend more time refining compositions, lighting, styling, materials, sightlines, and details to create portfolio-quality imagery of the finished work.
What types of projects do you photograph?
Projects can include residential interiors, commercial interiors, custom homes, renovations, hospitality spaces, model homes, offices, retail environments, and other designed spaces.
Can you photograph both interiors and exteriors?
Yes. Coverage can include interior spaces, exterior architecture, site context, outdoor living, and supporting details depending on the project.
Do you photograph details and materials as well as full rooms?
Yes. We typically balance overall compositions with closer views of materials, lighting, furnishings, craftsmanship, styling, and other details that define the project.
Can the images be used for websites, portfolios, awards, and publications?
Yes. Tell us how the imagery will be used and we’ll confirm the appropriate scope and licensing for the project.
Can architects, builders, designers, vendors, or other project partners use the images?
Yes. Let us know which project partners need to use the photographs and how they plan to use them so we can scope the project appropriately.
Can drone or twilight photography be added?
Yes. Aerial and twilight coverage can be added when they help communicate the architecture, site, landscaping, exterior lighting, or overall project story.
How should the space be prepared?
The project should be substantially complete, with tools and construction materials removed, surfaces cleaned, styling finished, and lighting operational. Prepare landscaping and exterior areas for photography, and coordinate a shot list with us before the shoot.
