Before your twilight shoot.

When is a twilight shoot scheduled?

We schedule twilight sessions around sunset and confirm the exact arrival window based on the season, property location, and shoot scope. Because the best evening light is brief, timing is important.

What should be ready before the photographer arrives?

Turn on all interior, exterior, and landscape lighting, adjust blinds and curtains where appropriate, remove exterior clutter, move vehicles when possible, and have pools, fireplaces, or water features ready if they’ll be photographed.

What happens if the weather is bad?

We monitor conditions leading up to the shoot. If weather is likely to compromise the photography or eliminate the evening light we need, we’ll coordinate with you on the best way to proceed.

What’s the difference between real and virtual twilight?

Real twilight is photographed on location during the evening and captures the property’s actual lighting and atmosphere. Virtual twilight starts with a daytime exterior and creates the twilight look through professional editing. They offer a similar presentation but are produced in very different ways.

Can twilight photography be added to a regular listing shoot?

Yes. When scheduling allows, we can coordinate twilight photography with the rest of your listing media. Because twilight is tied to sunset, we’ll confirm the best schedule for the property when you book.

Is twilight photography worth it for every listing?

Not necessarily. It tends to have the most impact on homes with strong architecture, large windows, landscape lighting, pools or outdoor living areas, dramatic entrances, waterfront or view settings, or especially strong evening curb appeal.

How quickly will I receive the images?

Twilight photography follows our standard photography turnaround, with finished images typically delivered within 36 hours.
